Voco and Shining 3D: Validated 3D printing workflow for dental applications

The companies Voco and Shining 3D Dental have entered into a cooperation on 3D printing systems for dental applications. Coordination of materials, printers and post-curing is expected to create a validated digital workflow.

Voco said its V-Print range of dental 3D printing resins can now be used on Shining 3D Dental’s AccuFab L4D system. In addition, the FabCure 2 post-curing device has been certified for various V-Print materials.

According to Voco, V-Print resins cover many application areas from model printing to temporary restorations. The cooperation provides users with a wide range of compatible systems. An optimum print result requires the material, printer and post-processing to be a perfect fit.

At the recent IDS dental trade show, Voco presented V-Print c&b temp, a new material for temporary bridges and crowns. Thanks to 3D printing, this material can be designed very precisely and aesthetically.
