Turkish company TEI has received Nadcap certification for 3D printing

The Turkish company TEI, which specializes in aircraft engines, was the first company in Turkey to receive the international Nadcap certification for additive manufacturing technologies.

Special processes that change the physical, chemical, electrical and metallurgical properties of materials play a crucial role in the aviation industry. They increase the durability of engine parts and enable them to withstand the extreme conditions in aircraft engines. Nadcap certification ensures that these processes are carried out in accordance with customer requirements and international standards, guaranteeing high quality and safety standards.

TEI has earned an outstanding reputation as part of the Nadcap program, which is considered an international proof of competence for special processes. In June, TEI became the first Turkish company to be certified in additive manufacturing. This certification not only underlines TEI’s technological leadership, but also confirms its role as a globally recognized player in the industry. Since 2017, TEI has shared this leading position in specialty processes with other global companies, and the current accreditation for additive manufacturing further strengthens this position.

With the Nadcap certification in additive manufacturing, TEI can further expand its market position and use its technologies even more successfully internationally. The combination of highly specialized manufacturing processes and strict quality standards makes TEI an important partner for the global aerospace industry. This certification is a further step towards more sustainable and innovative production that meets the high demands of the aviation industry.
