Raise3D expands material range: Five new high-performance resins available

3D printer manufacturer Raise3D has expanded its range of speciality resins for the DF2 DLP printing solution. In collaboration with Henkel LOCTITE and Forward AM, the company is introducing five new high-performance resins that are available immediately.

The new materials cover a wide range of properties. The Raise3D High Clear Resin is characterised by its transparency and high surface quality. It is suitable for transparent prototypes and optical components. Forward AM contributes two resins: Ultracur3D RG 1100 B offers high strength and temperature resistance, while Ultracur3D RG 3280 with ceramic filling is designed for tools and moulds.

Henkel LOCTITE also supplies two other materials: Henkel LOCTITE 3D IND405 is aimed at industrial production and enables post-processing. Henkel LOCTITE 3D PRO476 is suitable for moulds and production aids.

Edward Feng, Global CEO of Raise3D, emphasises the importance of the partnership: ‘The collaboration with Henkel LOCTITE and Forward AM expands our Open Resin Program. Users will have access to a wider range of high-performance resins, promoting flexibility and innovation across multiple industries.’

Erika Fantino, Head of Liquid Formulations & Systems at Forward AM, adds: ‘Our collaboration with Raise3D for the DF2 solution brings high-performance resins such as Ultracur3D RG 1100 B and Henkel LOCTITE RG 3280 to the forefront of industrial applications.’

The new resins are available on the Raise3D website. Suitable print profiles have been integrated into the current version 5.1.2 of the ideaMaker software. Interested parties can request free samples.

The DF2 solution, consisting of DF2 printer, DF Wash and DF Cure, was launched in September 2023. It is aimed at technical prototypes, manufacturing aids and small series. Raise3D emphasises the traceability of the workflow, which is intended to reduce the workload and increase efficiency in productive use.
