Massivit 3D presents highly automated large-format 3D printing technology at IMTS 2024

Massivit 3D Printing Technologies will showcase its most advanced 3D printing solution at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2024 in Chicago. Taking center stage will be the Massivit 10000-G, an industrial 3D printer specializing in automated manufacturing and industrial tool design. The machine will be printing live throughout the show, demonstrating its ability to produce highly complex, large-format parts at high speed.

The Massivit 10000-G is characterized by its Cast In Motion technology, which radically speeds up toolmaking, replacing traditionally slow and costly methods. With this technology, molds, tools and other complex structures can be produced up to 80% faster. This increase in efficiency is achieved through the use of special materials and automated production processes aimed at minimizing waste and enabling the production of isotropic moulds.

In addition to presenting the Massivit 10000-G, the company will also showcase its recently launched new materials developed in collaboration with Sika Deutschland GmbH. These new resins and casting materials offer high performance at various temperature requirements and are suitable for numerous industrial applications, from automotive to consumer goods.

“We’re excited to present our pioneering additive manufacturing technology for the first time at this prestigious biannual event” says Avi Cohen, Massivit’s Global VP of Sales and Marketing. “With the recent expansion of our printers as well as new, advanced materials co-developed with Sika, we’re able to provide manufacturers with the ultimate combination of digital automation and high-grade materials. There’s no doubt that IMTS is the perfect platform at which to showcase Massivit’s latest innovations.”

Visitors to IMTS 2024 will have the opportunity to see the capabilities of the Massivit 10000-G in personal demonstrations and explore the potential of this technology for their own production needs. The technology on show aims to reduce production times while ensuring the quality and consistency of the tools produced, making it a valuable tool for a wide range of industries.
