Machina Labs appoints Ronen Lebi as Chief Business Officer

Machina Labs, a leading innovator in advanced manufacturing and robotics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Ronen Lebi as Chief Business Officer.

Mr. Lebi has extensive experience in leadership positions in the technology and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Machina Labs, he served as Vice President and Head of Stratasys Dental, a division of the world’s leading additive manufacturing company, Stratasys. In this position, he developed and led a global business unit providing customized additive manufacturing solutions for specialized dental applications. His new go-to-market strategy resulted in impressive year-on-year sales growth of 35%.

“We are thrilled to have Ronen on board,” said Edward Mehr, CEO and Co-Founder of Machina Labs. “He has played a pivotal role in building one of the most successful applications of 3D printing in the dental industry. Ronen’s deep understanding of manufacturing, combined with his expertise in building discrete vertical applications, will be invaluable as we expand into verticals such as defense, aerospace, automotive, and more.”

Lebi, who joined Stratasys in 2015, initiated major projects there, including investments in metal and composite materials and the introduction of new polymer-based manufacturing technologies. He sees his new role at Machina Labs as an exciting challenge.

“I am excited to join Machina Labs at such an exciting time in the company’s journey,” said Ronen Lebi. “Machina Labs is at the forefront of a manufacturing revolution, delivering groundbreaking solutions to the growing needs of the defense, aerospace and automotive industries. I look forward to working with the talented team here to drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

Machina Labs utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and robotics in a proprietary process called Roboforming to transform the sheet metal industry. This technology enables sheet metal materials to be quickly and accurately formed into complex components, significantly reducing production times and lowering costs. As a result, Machina Labs offers significant benefits to its customers in critical applications such as structural preservation components and propulsion tanks in the defense, aerospace and automotive industries.
