joke Technology introduces new generation of ENESKApostprocess

The surface specialist joke Technology has comprehensively enhanced its workstation for the safe post-processing of 3D printed products, the ENESKApostprocess. With a significantly larger work surface and optimized ergonomic functions, the new generation aims to meet the industry’s requirements for larger and more complex 3D-printed components. This workstation was first introduced in 2019 and has proven its worth thanks to its enclosed design, which enables safe processing of 3D printed parts without direct breathing air contact.

The current version of the ENESKApostprocess offers a working space that is now more than 50 percent larger at 560 liters, which enables the processing of large-volume components weighing up to 250 kilograms. Despite the significantly increased capacity, the space requirement of the workstation remains virtually unchanged, which makes it particularly interesting for companies that rely on efficient use of space. The ergonomic design of the new version has also been improved, including larger hand inlets and a redesigned, fully glazed front flap, which ensures a better view of the component while being robust enough to withstand any loads.

“We received a lot of positive feedback on the original version of the ENESKApostprocess,” says Max Fielenbach, Product Manager for Additive Manufacturing / 3D printing at joke Technology. “With the new generation, we are now responding to the developments of recent years, in which additively manufactured components have become ever larger. And other customer requests have also been incorporated.”

The ENESKApostprocess is manufactured at the Bergisch Gladbach site in collaboration with sister company jokeMechanix. Customers in Europe can test the system during on-site demonstrations and see the benefits of the new generation for themselves. With this further development, joke Technology is not only responding to the increased requirements in additive manufacturing, but is also continuing to position itself as a reliable partner for the safe and efficient post-processing of 3D printed products.
