HYBRID Software announces CLOUDFLOW Maker for additive manufacturing workflow

HYBRID Software, global provider of software solutions for the printing industry, is launching CLOUDFLOW Maker at the Formnext trade show in Frankfurt. This is a workflow solution for industrial bindery and material jetting 3D printing. CLOUDFLOW Maker is designed specifically for these additive manufacturing processes and provides printer manufacturers and users with an exceptional tool for preparing and running 3D printing jobs.

According to HYBRID Software, CLOUDFLOW Maker is forward-thinking in many ways. Based on OPC UA standards, it interacts with all connected devices and machines. The API-based architecture enables smooth connections to other systems.

In addition to connectivity, Kris Binon, head of the AM business unit, points to decades of experience in inkjet technology as an advantage. But fast, secure and modular software solutions and customer-oriented support are also important, he says.

As part of the HYBRID Software Group, the company can also draw on the expertise of Meteor Inkjet as the world’s leading manufacturer of printhead electronics for Binder Jetting. The combination of hardware and software enables a direct data flow from design to printhead. According to HYBRID CEO Mike Rottenborn, the 3D printing industry is at a turning point toward industrialization. With that comes the need for software to optimize and increase efficiency, he said. With CLOUDFLOW Maker, HYBRID aims to leverage its expertise in the printing industry to add value to binder and material jetting.
