HeyGears presents UltraCraft Reflex RS Resin 3D printer

HeyGears has unveiled the new UltraCraft Reflex RS 3D printer. The resin printer is set to be released on 4 October 2024 at a price of 999 US dollars.

Developed for designers, engineers and 3D printing enthusiasts, the Reflex RS is primarily intended for use in small series production and rapid prototyping. With a combination of high accuracy, speed and user-friendliness, the printer appeals to users who need fast and precise manufacturing solutions.

The Reflex RS utilises the latest technology to ensure maximum precision. A C5 degree Z-axis module ensures a stable layer thickness, minimising deviations to ±2 µm. In addition, the printer offers full screen calibration in 60 zones to ensure uniform light intensity and print accuracy across the entire print area. With a tolerance of less than 0.05 mm, the printer is particularly suitable for complex geometries and fine details that are otherwise only achieved with injection moulding processes.

In addition to precision, the Reflex RS also scores highly in terms of speed. Thanks to the Dynamic Motion Algorithm 3.0, the printing speed can be increased by up to 33 %. This adjustment is achieved by integrating force sensors that regulate the print speed in real time. This results in reliable print quality and minimises typical problems such as layer offset or peeling that can occur during longer printing processes.

Setting up the printer is also particularly user-friendly. With features such as automatic levelling and one-click print preparation, the Reflex RS can be up and running in just 15 minutes. Optional features such as a heated resin tank and automatic resin refill further simplify the printing process and increase efficiency.

HeyGears has also introduced two new resin types that extend the printer’s functionality. UltraPrint PAWW10, a water-washable resin, enables easy post-processing and is ideal for durable models with low deformation. The second resin, UltraPrint PAS10, offers a cost-effective solution for precise prototypes and models with a detail accuracy of up to 0.05 mm.
