Fusion3 presents F200 Pro 3D printer on Kickstarter

US manufacturer Fusion3 has launched its new F200 Pro 3D printer on Kickstarter. The device is aimed at professional users and is specially optimised for technical plastics such as ASA and nylon.

The F200 Pro offers a maximum bed temperature of 140°C and a nozzle temperature of up to 320°C. A heated chamber reaches temperatures of 70°C. Fusion3 says it has optimised the airflow over the print bed to reduce deformation and improve surface quality.

It has an installation space of 256 x 256 x 256 mm and a weight of 22 kg. The printer has linear rails on all axes and robust steel components. The print head allows for quick nozzle changes between three sizes and utilises a direct drive extruder.

Other features include a carbon and HEPA filtration system, a magnetic PEI build plate and functions such as filament problem detection and input shaping. The F200 Pro supports a fully offline-based workflow.

With a price of 3,299 US dollars, Fusion3 wants to position the F200 Pro as an alternative to established systems such as those from Ultimaker.
