Dressler Group: Restructuring and focus on efficiency in 3D printing

Dressler Group, known for its specialized production processes and services, has reorganized its corporate structure. Since July 1, the individual operating companies have been operating under the new umbrella company Dressler Group GmbH (DG). This reorganization is intended to further increase efficiency for both DG and its customers.

“All over the world, market and regulatory requirements are growing ever more complex. So it’s all the more important that we make things as simple as possible for our customers. That’s why we’re celebrating the reorganisation with a requirements-based campaign,” says new CEO Dr Jürgen Flesch. The Listen-Care-Evolve approach puts the customer centre stage.

The new strategy under the motto “Listen-Care-Evolve” focuses on the customer. While some customers only require pure grinding services, DG develops tailor-made solutions for others, whether in terms of processes or materials. Every customer receives exactly what they need, individually adapted and scalable.

A central element of the realignment is the DG Campus. This digital platform emphasizes customer orientation and is based on three pillars: Knowledge, dialog and service.

“This digital showcase is part of the new website and is based on three pillars: Knowledge, Dialogue and Service. Under Knowledge, we use best practice examples to show what problems we have already solved and what innovations we have enabled through our customised powder design,” says Dr Holger Leonards, Head of Innovation & Application Technology.

The dialog area invites the community to discuss trends, processes, new materials and other industry topics. The service area provides access to training videos, services such as CO2 certificates and an overview of industry events where visitors can meet DG’s experts in person.

One highlight will be DG’s upcoming trade fair appearances. From October 8 to 10, the company will be represented at CPHI in Milan, one of the largest pharmaceutical trade fairs. In addition to classic processes and services according to GMP standards for APIs and excipients, “GMP light” processes will also be presented, which use the systematic GMP approach and save resources and costs in the process. From November 19 to 22, Formnext in Frankfurt will offer the opportunity to exchange ideas with DG’s 3D printing experts.

This restructuring and the introduction of new digital offerings illustrate Dressler Group’s focus on efficiency and customer orientation in 3D printing. Through customized solutions and increased communication with the community, DG aims to continue to drive innovation and consolidate its position in the industry.
