CONCR3DE presents 3D printer for wood and more at Formnext

The Dutch company CONCR3DE has announced in a press release new developments of its 3D printing platform for the trade fair Formnext. According to the release, the focus is on both new materials and hardware upgrades for sustainable industrial manufacturing.

According to CONCR3DE, technical materials such as silicon carbide, aluminum oxide and casting sand will be showcased at Formnext. They are also announcing bio-based materials for product design and architecture, including wood and recycled bricks.

A new 3D printer called Armadillo Green is said to be specifically optimized for printing wood and other bio-materials. CONCR3DE is also introducing Elephant Grey, a solution for printing large-format components up to 2x1x1 meter.

According to CONCR3DE co-founder Matteo Baldassari, they combine hardware and software expertise to offer industrial 3D printing solutions. CEO Eric Geboers highlights sustainability aspects such as recycling of residual materials.

CONCR3DE will present the innovations at Formnext at booth 12.1 D19.
