BigRep expands 3D printing offering in Benelux through partnership with MakerPoint

The German company BigRep, known for its large-format Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printers, has entered into a partnership with the Dutch provider MakerPoint. This cooperation expands BigRep’s market presence in the Benelux (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg) and enables customers in these regions to access BigRep’s entire 3D printing ecosystem. This includes low and high temperature printers, materials, software, consulting and support services.

BigRep is recognised as one of the leading suppliers of large-format 3D printers. The company offers solutions characterised by an open range of materials, verified filaments and advanced automation technologies. These features make the printers a reliable choice for the production of high-quality and robust components.

The 3D printers that will become available in the Benelux through the collaboration include the ALTRA 280, a high-temperature machine for complex, industrial applications, and the VIIO 250, which enables fully automated, continuous printing for industrial manufacturing processes. The machines offer large build volumes and are designed for both prototyping and final part production.

The partnership brings together over 25 years of experience in the field of additive manufacturing and is intended to enable manufacturers in various industries to utilise the benefits of in-house 3D printing. This technology offers significant advantages, particularly in the production of customised tools, prototypes and components.

This cooperation will significantly facilitate access to large-format 3D printers in the Benelux region and further strengthen innovation in additive manufacturing.
