Austrian startup Plasmics presents new Delta S 3D printer

The Austrian company Plasmics presents Delta S, a new 3D printer. At its core is the INo Trident print head, which heats up to 250°C in just 4 seconds and reaches up to 500°C.

Combined with a 3D filament sensor, 4-drive extruder and real-time print protocol, the Delta S optimizes print quality. According to CEO Konrad Schreiner, Plasmics is thus opening up cost-effective industrial 3D printing for applications with high temperature and abrasion resistance.

The components of the Delta S form a harmonious ecosystem for improved printing. The 3D filament sensor measures dimensions and adjusts extrusion during printing. This allows defects to be identified quickly.

As an open system, the Delta S offers flexibility in materials and software. From PLA to PEEK and ULTEM, many polymers are possible for professional use. WiFi, LAN and USB provide connectivity.

According to Plasmics, the Delta S is also distinguished by its thoughtful design. Quiet operation and attractive styling allow it to blend into any environment. Plasmics will present the 3D printer at the Formnext trade show in Frankfurt.
