3YOURMIND celebrates its tenth anniversary in additive manufacturing

3YOURMIND, a software provider for on-demand manufacturing, is celebrating ten years of helping large companies modernize their manufacturing methods.

Founded in 2014 by Aleksander Ciszek and Stephan Kühr at the Technical University of Berlin, the company entered the world of additive manufacturing when the industry was still mainly focused on prototyping. Ciszek and Kühr recognized the opportunity to provide software solutions that maximize knowledge about additive manufacturing. Their goal was to enable customers to analyze component designs to determine whether they could be produced using additive manufacturing and, if so, at what cost.

“Since 3YOURMIND first entered the U.S. market in 2019, we have made powerful strides to accelerate U.S. enterprises’ efforts to transform their manufacturing methods and gain a competitive edge,” says Alexandre Donnadieu, chief commercial officer of 3YOURMIND. “We’re proud of the work we’ve accomplished in such a short time and are eager to continue our efforts in the coming years.”

Since 2014, 3YOURMIND has worked tirelessly to make additive manufacturing technology more accessible. In its first phase, 3YOURMIND developed a marketplace-like platform that connected consumers with providers of 3D printing services. In the following years, 3YOURMIND evolved to meet the needs of enterprise customers by offering additive manufacturing workflow solutions dealing with part identification, ordering and production. In 2018, under the leadership of Alexandre Donnadieu, now Chief Commercial Officer, 3YOURMIND ventured into the US market with its enterprise software solutions and quickly gained customers such as Ford Motor Company and the US Navy, NIWC Pacific.

In just ten years, 3YOURMIND has made headlines by securing programs for multiple organizations within the US Department of Defense. 3YOURMIND’s software supports these organizations in their efforts to strengthen supply chains by identifying component candidates and building digital component inventories for on-demand manufacturing.
