3DPRINTUK expands 3D printing capacity with new HP Multi Jet Fusion machines

UK-based 3DPRINTUK, which specializes in on-demand production using advanced Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) 3D printing technologies, has expanded its number of HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) machines from three to five. The new MJF machines complement the existing inventory of EOS SLS machines and extensive DyeMansion post-processing equipment, enabling 3DPRINTUK to deliver high-quality parts quickly and economically.

For over 13 years, 3DPRINTUK has mastered the 3D printing process with polymer powders, which requires no support material, leaves barely visible layer lines and offers short production times. The company is a preferred partner for the production of single prototypes through to series production with tens of thousands of parts. MJF technology quickly produces functional nylon prototypes and final parts with fine details, smooth surfaces and consistent mechanical properties. This technology is often used for the production of parts that require consistent isotropic mechanical properties, functional prototypes and final products or parts with complex and organic geometries.

3DPRINTUK recognizes that the number of machines is only one aspect of serving a growing customer base that expects continuity in delivery and consistently high quality. Machine downtime can cause unexpected production delays, impacting project schedules and potentially causing financial losses for customers. To address these challenges, 3DPRINTUK has established a team of three specialized maintenance technicians for the growing number of MJF systems, in addition to the technicians already looking after the SLS machines.
